The college organized an extensive induction program from Feb 1st to Feb 21 covering a number of topics including the general framework of Tibetan Medicine, syllabus of the First professional, rules and regulation of the Men-Tsee-Khang Institute/ the college and others. The aim of the program is to welcome the new students and make them more familiar with the environment, give them a better understanding of the system, the facilities and the people in the campus.

The 62nd Foundation day of Dro-Phen Men-Tsee-Khang

Yesterday marked the 62nd Foundation day of Dro-phen Men-Tsee-Khang. Our College in collaboration with the two Men-tsee-khang clinics of Koranmangala and Mahalakshimi celebrated the anniversary with a small function in the morning at 10:30 am. Previous Next The day started with a prayer to the Medicine Buddha and lightening of a butter lamp before the portrait of the His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Our college’s vice principal Dr Lobsang Yeshi took the podium and introduced the day by tracing the historical development of the institution from its inception to the present day with stories and anecdotes.Then, the Director of the Dalai Lama Institute for higher education who presided over the function as the chief guest spoke at length on the importance and uniqueness of Traditional Tibetan medicine, his own personal interest for the medicine and give away awards to the toppers of the last academic year.The members of the former student council were also acknowledged and rewarded for their exemplary services on the same occasion.The function concluded with an end note from the host and announcement for various activities of recreations and amusements organized for the latter part of the day.

Welcome Ceremony for the first Batch of Professional BSRMS Course

Men-Tsee-khang Bangalore College hosted a welcome ceremony for the first batch of students enrolled for Professional B.S.R.M.S course undertaken by the institute in affiliation with NCISM under the Ministry of Ayush.  A group of 14 students has joined the program. Our school principal –Medical superintendent Dr. Dorjee Rabten welcomed the students with a short introductory speech in the presence of College faculties and other staff. The attendants were served with Tibetan butter tea and ceremonial sweet rice in traditional fashion. It was ended with a quick photo session.  The function is the starting of the induction program that will run on for next fifteen days2 Previous Next
